The plant and fittings engineering and construction company Pretzsch GmbH  is a medium
sized company which can look back on 40 years of experience in the production of fittings
for hydraulic engineering.
The scope of the business of AFP includes DIN as well as designed specific fittings with or
without anticorrosives made of carbon steel or stainless steel in the nominal diameters DN 80
to DN 2000 and with pressure ranges from PN 10 to PN 160.
Whether welded T-pieces, reducers, segment benders, tube couplings or adapter pieces for
steel, concrete or cast iron pipes or Y-pipes – the skilled specialists of AFP are able to
produce any desired type of fitting.
What makes AFP unique is the fact, that it is the sole company in all of Germany to offer an
all-in-one solution in one location ranging from pre-fabrication, lining and coating to
adjustment and assembly.
With regards to coating AFP offers a wide range of techniques and materials in order to
guarantee ideal characteristics for every application.
Fittings are coated with Rilsan or PE. Cement mortar linings can be made suitable for
drinking water or for various other applications, they can be fitted out with clay fused
alumina or dispersion.
A permanent staff of 30 employees are responsible for the continuously high quality, certified
according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. The company is evaluated by the MOT on an annual
basis in order to certify its know-how and to obtain the required approval for the
manufacturing sector e.g. AD-2000-WO.
Many of Germany´s water plants are equipped with piping components made in Pretzsch. But
also in the area of the construction of pipelines in waste-water-treatment plants components
made in Pretzsch can be found.
